Purpose

Each company can be configured with a default customised sorting process. The default sorting order for payslips and employees is:

Payroll Id > Surname > First name

However, this may not match your other systems and can make line-by-line checking difficult. Customised sorting allows you to change this sort order.

Setup

You can customise the sort order under Settings > Sort order to change the default from the following options:

  • Payroll ID > Surname > First name
  • Payroll ID > First name > Surname
  • Surname > First name
  • First name > Surname

This setting will be used for all employee and payslip display pages.
