Introduction to MyFutureFund

On 4 December, employers received an email from donotreply@myfuturefund.ie inviting them to log in to the MyFutureFund Employer Portal.
This email is sent to the ROS Admin user, so you may need to check your spam or notifications folder.

MyFutureFund is administered by the National Automatic Enrolment Retirement Savings Authority (NAERSA).


Accessing the Employer Portal

Once logged in, employers can:

  • View enrolled employees (AEPN)
  • Set up the company Direct Debit instructions

Automatic AEPN Loading in Parolla

AEPNs (Automatic Enrolment Payroll Notifications) will be automatically available in Parolla from 8 December. There is no need to do anything.

Parolla will:

  • Create the MyFutureFund pension automatically
  • Check for a new AEPN each time you open a company

AEPNs are issued every Monday, covering changes made up to the previous Thursday.


How MyFutureFund Appears on the Payslip

For payment dates from 1 January 2026, Parolla will apply the following contributions to each employee payslip:

  • 1.5% employee contribution (deduction)
  • 1.5% employer contribution (benefit)

The 1% Government contribution will be visible in the employee’s MyFutureFund account.


Submitting Contributions to NAERSA

MyFutureFund contribution details are submitted to NAERSA immediately following a successful payroll submission to the Revenue automatically by Parolla.

  • Any changes to a payslip must be reported to NAERSA before 6:30pm on the payslip payment date.
  • NAERSA debits contributions on the payment date itself, not the following month as with standard tax payments.
  • Any changes to a payslip after the 6.30pm cut off on the date of payment must be corrected with NAERSA directly *their IT system doesn’t currently support updates in the way that Revenue does*

Employee Notification Requirements

Employers must notify all employee that they have been enrolled in MyFutureFund.

To support this:

  • A standard email template is available in the NAERSA Employer Portal
  • or Parolla provides a Send Email option on the AEPN summary page, using the NAERSA template

This email should be sent to employees before the first MyFutureFund payslip deduction.
